LIAN VERDEFLOR

Lian Verdeflor is a Filipino American artist based in Southern California. Her work focuses on the multifaceted nature of identity and the struggle to manifest self within a hyper-technological world. Verdeflor formally expresses her ideas and discoveries through a multidisciplinary practice— sculpture, installation, digital/traditional drawing, video montage, sound, and animation. A recent graduate from the University of California, Riverside with a dual B.A. in Art (Studio) and Education, Lian continues to navigate her journey as an artist and hopes to inspire others along the way.
